What you provide and why

This form collects the information you enter to prepare a rental application PDF and, when you choose Email application, deliver it to the rental office and your primary applicant email. Information may include names, contact details, dates of birth, Social Security and driver’s license numbers, employment and income details, current residence, landlord and reference details, household and program information, answers to the application questions, and typed signatures and dates. Supporting documents are not uploaded through this form.

How the form processes your information

Entries remain in the open browser tab as you complete the form. Generating a PDF sends the entries to the site’s server for processing in memory. The site does not save drafts, application records or generated PDFs to a database or file store, and does not use browser local storage to save your entries. Refreshing or closing the tab can lose unsent entries. A downloaded PDF is saved by your browser on your device.

Where emailed applications go

Choosing Email application sends the completed PDF to info@findyourplacewithusny.com, with a copy to the primary applicant email you entered. Both copies contain the information included in the application, including co-applicant information and sensitive identifiers if provided. Verify your email address and obtain appropriate permission before including another person’s information. The rental office receives the PDF for rental application review and related communication; it and any parties involved in its review handle received copies outside this website.

Email, hosting and retention

Resend processes the email and PDF attachment for delivery. Its published retention policy currently states 30 days for email and log data on Free, Pro and Scale plans, with plan-dependent exceptions. Recipient mailboxes, downloaded files, backups and hosting or email providers may retain copies or operational records under their own policies. The site’s hosting services may process IP addresses, request times, browser information, response statuses and security or diagnostic logs. Application field values and PDF contents are not deliberately written to application logs. No advertising or marketing analytics are added by this form.

“No saved application records” describes the website’s application storage; it does not mean zero retention in mailboxes or service providers. The website cannot automatically delete copies already emailed or downloaded. A fixed rental-office retention period has not been specified here; contact the office for its current retention practices and any applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Security and your choices

The website uses HTTPS. PDFs are not password-protected or end-to-end encrypted by this form. Email and downloaded PDFs should be handled as sensitive documents. You may stop before submitting, download a copy, or contact the office to discuss another way to provide information. No credit report is ordered and no rental decision is made automatically by this form.

Questions, corrections and deletion requests

Contact info@findyourplacewithusny.com to ask about access, correction, deletion, retention or another submission method. Do not include Social Security numbers or identity documents in a general inquiry. The office may need to verify your identity and consider applicable recordkeeping obligations when handling a request. This notice does not limit rights available under applicable law.
